Don graduated from the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Training Program at the University of Washington, School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. Prior to joining the practice, he served several years as a medic in the U.S. Army, where he also earned the Expert Field Medical Badge, and in the Illinois National Guard. Don also has worked more than eight years as a registered respiratory therapist in underserved communities and trauma hospitals in Chicago, as well as in critical care units at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital in Portland.
